"After a high-speed car crashed into a BYD e6 taxi in Shenzhen on May 26, 2012, the electric car caught fire after hitting a tree and all three occupants died in the accident.[15] The Chinese investigative team concluded that the cause of the fire were "electric arcs caused by the short-circuiting of high voltage lines of the high voltage distribution box ignited combustible material in the vehicle including the interior materials and part of the power batteries." The team also found that the collisions were the cause of death of the occupants, not the fire. They also noted that the battery pack did not explode, and 75% of the single cell batteries did not catch on fire, and no flaws in the safety design of the vehicle were identified.[16]"
En pocas palabras, otro carro lo estrelló y se incendió pero hubo un corto, no los mató el incendio solo el choque, lo cual ya es normal en Colombia donde los taxis son trampas de la muerte.
Mi pregunta es: por que se trae un carro chino, cuando podrían traerse híbridos mas baratos, o un Nissan Leaf, un Prius (carro de una seguridad, confiabilidad y comodidad de muy alto nivel) cuesta entre 27.000 y 32000 dolares, el Leaf cuesta aproximadamente 21.000 para arriba, estos BYD6 cuestan 35000 antes de incentivos... a lo que los están cobrando acá es a CO$ 120.000.000 según el cambio unos 62.000 dolares, dicen que se vendieron a CO$ 80.000.000 es decir que si eso precio es sin el arancel se están cobrando a 42.000 dólares aproximadamente.
Como todo lo que involucra políticos en este pais, hay corrupción involucrada indudablemente.
